Lines, in Order to reside in Maryland (Copies whereof are herewith
sent) and requested us to permit him to take the Oaths to Govern-
ment. This Board having considered the Application of the said
Doctor Scott, and the several Circumstances disclosed herein, de-
clined administering the Oaths to him, and beg Leave to Submit
his Case to the Consideration of the General Assembly and request
their Advice and Directions respecting the same.

Mr Beyerfolk Lieutenant of the Regiment of Deuxpints, in the
service of His most Christian Majesty, having obtained the Per-
mission of this Board to enlist the Deserters from the German
Troops in the British Service, you are hereby requested to furnish
such Recruits, when procured, with Rations on his Demand, keeping
a particular Account thereof, which you are to render to us

Wednesday 29th November 1780

Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to Lieut John Carr
Three Pounds, one shilling and Eleven pence of the new Emission
in lieu of one hundred and twenty three Pounds, seventeen shillings
and six pence due him p acet passed by the Aud. General.

Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to Lieut John
Boone of the 1st Regiment one Pound thirteen shillings of the new
Emission in lieu of sixty six Pounds due him per Account passed by
the Aud. Genl
That the Issuing Commissary deliver to the said Lieut John
Boone, four Gallons of Rum sixteen pounds of sugar and nine
pounds of Coffee due him to the 30th of November inclusive.
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Lieut John Carr of the
3rd Regiment two pair of Stockings in part of the Articles allowed
by the Act of Assembly.

Denney of the 7th Regimt one Pound thirteen shillings of the new
Emission in lieu of sixty six Pounds due him per Acct passed by
the Audr Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to William Fennell five Dollars of
the same Emission in lieu of seventy five Pounds to be delivered over
to Mary Fennell due her per Account passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Alice Redman one Pound Seven-
teen shillings and six pence of the same Emission in lieu of seventy
five Pounds due her per Account passed by the Aud. Genl.
