Manduit by the Right Honble Cha: Lord Baltimore] April 4th 1746.
17 Feb. 1745/6. Release from Mr Jno & Mr Herbert Hyde to
Mr Samuel Hyde
The sd Mr John & Herbert Hyde their Authority to his Excel-
lency Governor Bladen & Others to Acknowledge the sd Deed
17th & 18 Febry. Lease & Release from Mr Samuel Hyde to Lord
Baltimore of Certain Lands &c. therein mentiond & also Asst of
Debts.
The said Sam: Hyde Authority to Governor Bladen and Others
to Acknowledge the same
18th Febry Lord Baltimore Letter of Attorney to Governor Bladen
& Benjamin Tasker Esqr proved — Marked. A: Proofs of the severall
debts mention'd in the Schedule to the said Deed Marked. B.
Coppy of Mr Jenings Bond for securing his Debt Market (6)
the Original of wch is in Lord Baltimores Custody
Coppy of former Accounts between the said Samuel Hyde & the
persons mentioned in the Schedule to the said Deed from the foot
of wch the said debts arise and wch sd former Accounts have been
already proved by Mr Hyde & are in Custody of Mr Dulany
marked. (D.)

[Orders & Instructions to Our Trusty & well Beloved Benjamin
Tasker Esqr our Agent & receiver General in Our Province of Mary-
land from Lord Baltimore, London.]
As to what foreign whole Gold & Silver, wch at any time you
receive in Payments on Our Acco tis our will & pleasure, that you do
not Allow more then Three pound twelve shills & six pence, sterling
pr Ounce, for the said Gold, nor more then five shill. pr Ounce ster-
ling for the said silver.
And that you do take the first Opportunity by a Man of war to
send, what Gold & Silver, you have already receiv'd on Our Acco.

Paper Currency Office, Annapolis, to Lord Baltimore]

My Lord We Presume to Address ourselves to your Lordship in
relation to the Trust reposed in us by the Act of Assembly for Emit-
ting and making Current Ninety Thousand pounds Current money
of this Province in Bills of Credit.
That Act Impowered Messrs Samuel Hyde, William Hunt and
Robert Cruikshank, or any two of them to Act as Trustees for
Several purposes in the Execution of that Act in London, But as
the same placed the Conduct of those Trustees under your Lord-
ships Superintendency and direction, And further Impowered your
Lordship to remove Any Trustee and nominate Another as your
Lordship should think proper.
