Table of ffees, in the Bill entituled, An Act for amending the Staple
of Tobacco &c. for Services to be done, and not therein particularly
expressed, be allowed or not ? Resolved in the Affirmative.

Major Sheredine from the Conferees of both Houses, delivers to
Mr Speaker the following Report; viz.
At a Conference begun and held in the Loan Office on the 25th
Day of June, 1747, and by frequent adjournments continued until
the 6th Day of July, in the same Year.

Esquires of the Upper House
Mr Philip Hammond, Capt. Edward Tilghman, Dr George Buch-
anan, Mr John Gresham, Major Robert Jenkins Henry and Major
Thomas Sheredine, of the Lower House
Who make Choice of Col. James Hollyday to be their Chairman,
and William Wilkins their Clerk
The following Report was agreed upon, by the Conferees of both
Houses, viz.
The said Conferees, having agreed to the several Alterations and
Amendments proposed to be made to the Bill entituled.
An Act for Regulating the Staple of Tobacco &c. and that all
literal mistakes in the said Bill shall be corrected.
Signed per Order, Wm Wilkins, Clerk.
With which the House concurs.
Philip Thomas Esqr from the Upper House, delivers to Mr
Speaker, the Bill entituled, An Act for amending the Staple of To-
bacco &c Indorsed, By the Upper House of Assembly, July 6. 1747
