On Motion that the Conferees of this House be instructed to
propose to the Conferees of the Upper House, that a part of the
Attorney ffees be Deducted by the Bill, entituled, An Act for amend-
ing the Staple of Tobacco &c. the Question was put, Whether one
fourth or one ffifth be proposed to be deducted from Attorneys ffees ?
Resolved that one ffifth be proposed to be deducted.

The House met &c.
The Bill entituled, An Act Repealing An Act of Assembly enti-
tuled, An Act to enable the Rector, Vestrymen, and Churchwardens,
for the time being, of St. Anne's Parish in Anne Arundell County,
to lease certain Lots &c. was Read the second time and will pass,
and was sent to the Upper House by Capt Gordon and Capt. Hyland.
The Bill entituled, An Act for Repairing and Amending the pub-
lic and County Goal &c. was Read the second time and will pass;
and was sent to the Upper House by Mr Harris and Mr Mills.
The Bill entituled, An Act for the Enlargement of Baltimore
Town &c. was Read the second time and will pass; and was sent to
the Upper House by Col. Hall and Mr Stoddert.
It being proposed by the Conferees of the Upper House to the
Conferees of the Lower House, that the Clauses mentioned in the
Table of ffees, for Services to be done, and mentioned in the Bill
entituled, An Act for amending the Staple of Tobacco &c. and for
which payment is not therein particularly expressed, be allowed ;
and the same being Reported to this House, the Question was put,
Whether this House doth agree that the Clauses mentioned in the
