Capt. Hooper, Mr Lecompte, and Mr Sulivane, have Leave of the
House to go Home.
On Reading a Second time the Bill, entituled An Act for Rais-
ing pence sterling per Hogshead on all Tobacco to be expected,
for purchasing Arms and Ammunition, and for an immediate supply
of Arms for the Defence of this province: The Question was put,
Whether Three pence Sterling, or ffour pence Sterling per Hogs-
head, should be raised Resolved, That three pence Sterling per
Hogshead be raised.
