The House referred the Consideration of the said Bill, to the next
Session of Assembly.
The Bill entituled, An Act to prevent certain Evils and Incon-
veniencies attending the Sale of Strong Liquors, and Running of
Horse Races, near the yearly meetings of the people called Quakers
&c. was Read the second time, and will pass; and was sent to the
Upper House by Capt Tilghman and Mr Harris.
Mr Philip Hammond, having an Order on the Executors of Col.
Young for the sum of 13l 16s 8d Gold Current Money, drawn by
Order of both Houses of Assembly, last Session of Assembly, to
convert into Sterling Money, to send to England, for purchasing
paper, for the use of the public; and not being able, advantageously
to negotiate the said Order, returned it to the Clerk of this House
Resolved, That this House do not proceed on any new Business
this Session, after next Tuesday.
An Ingrossed Bill, entituled an Act to cut off the Entail of 200
acres of Land, part of a Tract of Land, Called Saint Patrick's Hill
lying in Charles County &c. was Read, and assented to, and with
the paper Bill, sent to the Upper House, by Mr Harrison, and Capt.
Bond.
The Bill entituled, An Act to enable Onorio Razolini, to Convey
in Right of Elizabeth Calvert an Infant, to George Plater Esqr cer-
tain Lands therein mentioned; was read the second time; and will
pass; and was sent to the Upper House by Major Barnes and Mr
Mills.
The House adjourns 't 2 of the Clock.

in Anne Arundell County, whereon the Chapel of Ease belonging
to the said Parish now stands; was Read the ffirst and second time
by an Especial Order, and will pass; and was sent to the Upper
House by Mr Worthington and Major Hall.
Edmund Jenings Esqr from the Upper House, delivers to Mr
Speaker the Bill entituled An Act continuing An Act entituled An
Act for punishment of Horse Stealers, and other offenders &c. The
Bill entituled, An Act continuing An Act of Assembly of this Prov-
