after the Offence is Committed, sent to the Lower House with the
following Message by Colo Lloyd
By the Upper House of Assembly 26 September 1745
Gentlemen
We cannot help Observing that the Penalties & Forfeitures in the

and Tare of Barrells for Flour and Bread are not appropriated to
the Lord Propry as We think they ought to be but as they are very
small in the Bill and that our Proceeding may be with as little Inter-
ruption or Difference as possible We shall not insist on any Amend-
ment to this Purpose, tho' We hope this will never be drawn into or
agreed as a Precedent
Signed p Order J Ross Cl Up Ho.
