The following Message with the Bill for dividing Prince Georges
County and the Bill for dividing Queen Anns and Dorchester Coun-
ties is sent by Edmund Jenings Esqr

Gentlemen
In Answer to your Message of this day by Messrs Sprigg and
Hopper We are willing to Agree to the Amendments proposed to
the Bill Entd an Act to divide Prince Georges County and to erect a
new one by the name of Frederick County and a Bill entituled an Act
to divide Dorchester & Queen Anns Countys and to erect a new one
out of the Upper part thereof by the Name of Prince William
County because We presume that before that time his Lordships
Pleasure may be known with regard either to his dissent or Ap-
probation

Read the second time the Bill entituled an Act for ascertaining
the Allowances of Petit Jurors attending in the Provincial Court
and to limit Costs with Respect to Evidences and will pass with
the following Amendments & sent by Edmund Jenings Esqr between
the Words Cause, and two, in the last Line of the first Page, put,
and many others who really know nothing of the Fact and are only
summoned to enhance the Cost; after the Word Fact; in 4th Line
of 2d Page put these Words or any other Witness or Witnesses that
shall appear to the Court to have been unnecessarily summoned
Adjourned till three of the Clock in the Afternoon
