ordinary Keepers, and for other purposes therein mentioned; which
was read the first and Second Time by an especial order, passed, and
sent to the Upper House by Mr Courts and Capt. Ennalls.
The House adjourns 'til Monday Morning 9 of the Clock

June 23

Monday Morning June 23rd 1746

The House met according to Adjournment. All members present
as on Saturday except Mr Sheredine and Mr Addison
The Proceedings of Saturday were read Mr Philip Hammond
appears in the House. On motion of a Member Leave is given to
bring in a Bill for the Tryal of all matters of Fact in the several
Counties when they have arisen or shall arise; and Ordered that the
Committee of Laws prepare and bring in the same.
On Motion of A Member Leave is given to bring in A Bill for
erecting a County School in Worcester County Mr Purnell appears
in the House ordered that the Serjeant at Arms dispatch A Messen-
ger to Mr Mackall Mr Wilkenson and Mr Lecompte, to let them know
that This House requires their immediate Attendance
Dr Carroll from the Committee of Laws delivers Mr Speaker a
Bill entituled an Act for Limitation of officers Fees which was read
the first Time and ordered to lie on the Table. Ordered that the
Committee of Laws prepare and bring in Bills to continue the several
Laws following Viz.
An Act for relieving the Inhabitants of this Province from some
Aggrievances in the Prosecution of suits at Law, and for continuing
the supplementary Act thereto.

An Act for the advancement of Justice
An Act for the better relief of poor Debtors.
An Act to Prevent the ill Practices of Sheriffs in the Collecting
and Payment of the Public and County Leavies

Mr Stoughton from the Committee of Laws delivers Mr Speaker
the following Bills
A Bill entituled, An Act continuing an Act entituled An Act for
relieving the Inhabitants of this Province from some Aggrievances
in the Prosecution of suits at Law, and for continuing the supplemen-
tary Act thereto.

A Bill entituled An Act continuing an Act entituled, An Act for
the Advancement of Justice.
A Bill entituled An Act continuing an Act of Assembly of this
Province entituled An Act for the better Relief of Poor Debtors
A Bill entituled, An Act continuing An Act of Assembly of this
Province entituled An Act to prevent the ill Practices of Sheriffs in
