the Collecting and Payment of the Public and County Levies. Which
Bills were read the first Time, and Ordered to lie on the Table
Mr Speaker Communicates to the House the following Message
from the Governor viz.
Gentlemen of the Lower House of Assembly
I have received the inclosed Dispatches from the Northward which
I think proper to lay before your House T. Bladen
With the Dispatches mentioned in the said Message, which were
read, and ordered to lie on the Table
Col Tasker from the upper House delivers Mr Speaker the follow-
ing Message ( See page 288. )
The House Adjourns 'till 2 of the Clock

The House met According to Adjournment
The House taking into Consideration the Message from the Upper
House by Colonel Tasker The Question was put whether this House
will agree to the Conference proposed by the said Message. Resolved
in the Negative
