A Message from the Lower House by Col^o King and others with
the Association

By the Lower House of Assembly 24 March 1745
May it please Your Honours
We herewith send You two Copies of the Association agreed
upon by the Conferees of both Houses which after his Excellencys
Approbation We shall be ready to sign in Conjunction with him

and Your Honours the One of which Copies We propose to be
lodged with the Clerk of this house

Which Association being examined with that brought into this
House from the Committee of both Houses on Saturday last is
approved of by his Excellency and signed by him and the several
Members of this House
Daniel Dulany Esq^r and Col^o Tasker are sent to the Lower House
to acquaint the Speaker that his Excellency requires his Attendance
with the Lower House to sign the Association
The Speaker and the Lower House attend in the Upper House
and sign the Association, One Copy whereof was given to the
Speaker and the other lodged with the Clerk of this House
Mess^rs Key and Richard Gresham attend with M^r John Gresham
a Member elected for Kent County in Order to see him qualified,
and with M^r Abraham Barnes a Member elected for Saint Marys
County, and with M^r Joseph Hall a Member for Calvert County
in Order to see them Qualified who take the several Oaths to the
