Read the Petition of William Thornton high Sheriff of Anne
Arundel County praying that the State of the Publick Goal in An-
napolis may be taken into Consideration Referred to the Lower
House of Assembly and sent by Colo Tasker
Read the Petition of John Roberts and Thomas Bond of Balti-
more County Planters praying a Satisfaction may be made them
for their Trouble in going after several Horse Stealers in Baltimore
County they being employed by Mr Gist Ranger of the said County
Referred to the Consideration of the Lower House of Assembly and
sent by Colo Lloyd
Adjourned till to Morrow Morning ten of the Clock

A Bill from the Lower House by Messrs Lloyd and Hall Entitd
an Act for raising four Pence Sterling p hhd on all Tobacco to be
exported for purchasing Arms and Ammunition for the defence of
