Upon Consideration of the Amendments proposed by the Upper
House to the Bill entituled, An Act to divide Prince George's County
&a and to the Bill entituled, An Act to divide Dorchester and Queen
Ann's Counties, &a Resolved, That this House will not agree to the
said Amendments.
The following Message was prepared, (See page 47)
And sent to the Upper House with the said Bills by Mr Sprigg and
Capt. Hopper
An ingrossed Bill entituled, An Act for Limitation of Officer's
Fees, was read and assented to, and sent to the Upper House, with
the Paper Bill, by Capt. Ennalls and Mr Paca.

fore the several Sheriffs have been deficient in the Payment of the
money received by them in their respective Counties on Account of

An ingrossed Bill entituled An Act for ascertaining the Allow-
ance of Petit Jurors attending the Provincial Court, and to limit
Costs with respect to Evidences, was read and assented to, and sent
to the Upper House, with the Paper Bill, by Maj. Hall, and Mr
Pearce.
An ingrossed Bill entituled, An Act for laying out One Acre of
Land convenient to Rock Creek Landing on Potomack River, on
the Land George Gordon now lives on, and for building a Rolling
House thereon.
