An ingrossed Bill entituled An Act to divide Prince George's
County, and to erect a new one by the name of Frederick County.
And,
An ingrossed Bill entituled, An Act to divide Dorchester and

Queen Ann's Counties, and to erect a new County out of the Upper

Parts thereof, by the name of Prince William County.
Were severally read and assented to, and sent to the Upper House,
with the Paper Bills, by Col Colvill, and Mr W. Wilkinson.
Col. Lloyd from the Upper House, delivers Mr Speaker the Bill
entituled, An Act for the Gauge of Barrels for Pbrk, Beef, Pitch,
Tar, and Tare of Barrels for Flour or Bread, Indorsed, (See page

Dr Carroll from the Committee of Laws delivers Mr Speaker the
Bill entituled, An Act for the Relief of John Penny, a languishing
Prisoner in St. Mary's County, John Speake a languishing Prisoner
in Charles County, Iames Casteel, a languishing Prisoner in Calvert
County, Basil Brashear, and Miles Coyle, languishing Prisoners in
Prince George's County, Henry Bateman a languishing Prisoner in
Anne Arundel County, Benjamin Hammond a languishing Prisoner
in Baltimore County, John Mackentire a languishing Prisoner in
Cecil County, John Pardo a languishing Prisoner in Kent County,
Isaac lones a languishing Prisoner in Queen Anne's County, Henry
Lawrence a languishing Prisoner in Somerset County, Edward
Rounds a languishing Prisoner in Worcester County, John Bradcock
and John Frazier languishing Prisoners in Talbot County; which
was read the first Time, and ordered to lie on the Table.
The House adjourns 'til To-morrow Morning 9 of the Clock

The House met according to Adjournment
All members present as Yesterday except Mr Selby and Mr Outten.
The Proceedings of Yesterday were read.
The Bill entituled, An Act for the Gauge of Barrels for Pork,
Beef &a was read with the Amendments proposed by the Upper
House, and passed for Ingrossing.

The Bill entituled An Act for the Relief of John Penny &a was
read the second Time, passed, and sent to the Upper House by Maj.
Sherredine, and Mr Harris
