Treasurer from Mr Mathias Gale, acting Executor of Col. Levin
Gale, The Question was put, Whether the House doth approve of
that Article ? Resolved in the Negative.
The House adjourns to 2 of the Clock

Post Meridiem

The House met according to Adjournment.
Col. King, from the Committee of Accounts, delivers Mr Speaker
the Journal of Accounts, which was read and assented to, and sent
to the Upper House by Col. King and four others.
Samuel Chamberlaine Esqr from the Upper House delivers Mr
Speaker the Bill entituled, An Act for issuing Writs of Replevin out
of the County Courts of this Province. Indorsed, (See page 46)
Col. Hammond from the Upper House delivers Mr Speaker the
Bill entituled, An Act for laying out one Acre of Land convenient
to Rock Creek Landing on Potomack River &a Indorsed, (See page
46)
Which Bill was here read, and passed for Ingrossing.
Col. Hollyday from the Upper House, delivers Mr Speaker the
Bill entituled, An Act to divide Prince George's County &a (See
page 46)
And the Bill entituled, An Act to divide Dorchester and Queen
Ann's Counties, and to erect a new County out of the upper Parts
thereof &a Indorsed, (See page 46)

An ingrossed Bill entituled, An Act to direct and impower the
Clerk of Prince Georges County, to enter and record among the
Records of the said County a Deed of Bargain and Sale from John
Nevil, William Collier, and Thomas Bond, to John Boyd, of a Tract
of Land therein mentioned, was read, and assented to, and sent to
the Upper House, with the Paper Bill, by Mr Wootton and Mr
Lecompte.
The House adjourns 'til To morrow Morning 9 of the Clock.

The House met according to Adjournment. All members present
as Yesterday except Mr Philip Hammond.
The Proceedings of Yesterday were read.
Mr Selby and Mr Outten have leave of the House to go home
Col. Colvill from the Committee of both Houses appointed to in-
spect the Office and Proceedings of the Commissioners for emitting
Bills of Credit established by Act of Assembly delivers Mr Speaker
