This Day came afore M^r Secretary Cap^t Miles Cooke, & Cap^t
Richard Husbands according to the Order last Court on the 22^th
of Aprill, Ordering thereby the s^d Cap^t Miles Cooke to giue a Satis-
factory answere how th^t account claymed by Cap^t Husbands was payd
& Satisfyed. Cap^t Cooke for answere Sayth, th^t being trusted by
Cap^t Husbands w^lh goods & authorized by him to putt them of in this
prouince, Hee Trusted Will^m Edwin w^th some of the s^d Goods, to the
ualue of 523^l pownds (as by th^t Account appeareth) Of w^ch Edwin
the s^d Cooke acknowledgeth th^t he receaued 279^l in part of Satis-
faction of th^t account. And th^t there remaines due to the s^d Cap^t
Husbands from the s^d Edwin 244^l out of the s^d account, And th^t the
279^l w^ch hee receaued of the s^d Edwin, hcc payd unto the s^d Cap^t
Husbands amongst other Tob, w^ch hee shipped home for the s^d Cap^t
Husbands use.
To w^ch answere the s^d Cap^t Husbands made noe Reply, And M^r
Secretary gaue Judgm^t th^t Capt Richard Husbands receaue the 244^l
of the s^d Edwin, & th^t the s^d Edwin satisfy the same, & th^t Cap^t Miles
Cooke be dismissed touching th^t account.

Know all men by these p^ents th^t I Godfrey Bayley late of London
gentⁿ doe promise to giue an account, as allso to make a Returne or
Returnes of all such goods & merchandise, as are expressed or
mentioned in Certaine Bills of Lading assigned ouer to me the s^d
Godfrey Bayley by John Bayspoole of London merch^t as allso for
Two seruants, & to returne an account of the s^d goods & seruants
unto Will^m Hooker of London afores^d Gentⁿ. In wittness whereof I
the s^d Bayley haue hereunto sett my hand & Scale this Twenty ninth
of Decemb^r 1658
