It is Ordered by the Gouerno^r & Councell Thatt all Bills &
ffines w^ch were taken att Seauerne, or other where, during the late
Troubles by the then Pretenders to the Gouerm^t of this Prouince
(Except for Victualls, & Sheriffs & Clerks ffees) shall be deliuered
up att the next Prouinciall Court in whose hands soeuer they are.

The plf preferreth his Petⁿ by w^ch he claymeth an Extent agst
the Land of M^r James Neale according to an Order of Court
formerly obteyned agst the s^d Land by M^r Beniamin Gill for 16000^l
Tob & Cask or thereabouts, being payd by the s^d Gill, for the use
of his sonne in Law M^r James Neale. And the plf being Ad-
mistrato^r of the s^d Gills Estate, claymeth the Benefitt of th^t Order
of Court, to the end hee may be in a Capacity to receaue the Tob

due from the s^d Neale unto the deceased Gill or his heyres. In
answere to w^ch the deft sayth th^t he had reason to pretend att least,
tytle to M^r Neales Land by uertue of th^t Extent & order, whillst
his Ires of Admistraon of M^r Gills Estate were in force, w^ch hee
supposeth now to be Vacated ffor M^r James Neale hauing sent in a
letter, & letter of Attorney allso w^th Two Duplicates of the same,
all of one tenure & date this yeare unto the deft (w^ch hee produceth
& sheweth in Court) desyres according to the s^d Letter of Attorney
th^t hee may bee possest w^th the s^d Estates, & th^t the Pet^rs letters of
Admistraon be now recalled, gyuing an Account (by uertue of his s^d
lettres) of his s^d Admistraon unto the deft.

Louing ffreind it is now some yeares since I writt to yo^u, first for
want of conueyance, Secondly for th^t I had noe p^eticular busines to
trouble yo^u w^th all. The aryuall of this ship here, hath brought me
newes by the Relaon of the passengers th^t my Wifes ffather M^r
Beniamin Gill is dead, att w^ch I am heartily sorry. God rest his
Soule in peace. S^r my earnest desyre to yo^u is th^t yo^u will please to
doe me the freindly fauo^r w^th the assistance of Henry Raynor, or
John Thimbleby or M^r Wade, for to seeke to recouer what may bee
of his Estate, as allso my Land, & recouer satisfaction of Nathaniel
Pope for the six fowling peices, & the Cattle & Seruants I left w^th
him, & ioyne alltogether & preserue it in the best manner th^t may bee,
for my use, or the use of my Wife & Children & lett not any thing
be sould or deminished till further Order from mee. And please to
aduise mee by all opportunities what is done in the business. My
intent is to come ouer to yo^u soe soone as I heare from yo^u how
busines stands. Any letters yo^u write to mee direct them to be left
w^th M^r Nicholas Warren merchant in London, or w^th M^r John Parker
in London. And if yo^u write by way of Amsterdam direct to be left
w^th M^r Jan de Vogelaer or Conrad Kleneke merchants & any of these
merchants will send yo^r letters to mee, & pray write 3 or 4 Ires of
one tenure, th^t if one be lost, another may come safe. I heare th^t
