a Bill Entituled an Act for Erecting a Town near Elk-ridge Landing
Indorsed Read a second time & will Pass, if the Nomination of the
Town be left to the Lord Proprietary.
Read here and with the Amendment passed for Ingrossing.

Benja Tasker Esqr from the Upper House Delivered to Mr Speaker
the Bill Entituled an Act for the Assessment of so much Tobacco on
the Inhabitants of St. Stephens Parish in Cecil County as will build
them a New Parish Church & Chappell of Ease &c. Indorsed: Read
the second time and will pass, the Words, On or about, in the 9th

18th and 26th Lines being left out and the words, at or near, Put in
yhe stead.

The House Adjourns untill Two of the Clock in the Afternoon

Speaker the Bill Entituled an Act for Erecting a Town near the
head of Monokin River &c. Indorsed: Read the second time & the
words One Brick Chimney being incerted after House in the 7th
Line And that the Lord Proprietary have the nomination of the
Town, will pass.

Which Bill was read here and with the Amendments Passed for
Ingrossing.

The House Adjourns untill Two of the Clock in the Afternoon.
