The Question was put that a Bill be brought in to lay an Additional Duty on new England Spirits imported into this Province. Resolved in the Affirmative Ordered that a Bill be brought in to lay an Additional Duty of three Pence Currency p Gallon on all Spirits from New England ; and three Pence p Gallon on Wine; And after the rate of Five Shil- lings for every Barrell of Cyder. Mr Attorney from the Upper House Delivered to Mr Speaker the following Message.
