The House Adjourns untill two of the Clock in the Afternoon.

The house met according to Adjournment, &c.
Mr Dulany brings in the Address to his Lordship Ingrossed.
Collo Gale and Mr Crabb Sent to Acquaint his Lordship this House
hath Prepared an Address to him and Desires to know when and
where he will receive it.
They return and Acquaint Mr Speaker, his Lordship is ready to
receive it Immediately.
Ordered that Mr Dulany and Twelve more Attend his Lordship
with the Address.
Collo Gale Delivered to Mr Speaker the following Report [This
report is printed at page 13.]

On reading the said Report, it was referred for Consideration on
Monday.
A Bill Entituled an Act for Erecting a Town on the North side
of Sassafras River in Cecil County for laying into Lotts thirty Acres
of Land on a Point known by the Name of Pennington's Point or
the Prizing Point. Read the first and second time by Especial Order
and passed. And sent to the Upper House by Collo Ward & Mr
Wood.

Mr Speaker Communicates to the House his Lordships Answer
to the Address.

Gentlemen of the Lower House of Assembly.
I Desire you will be Assured, that I never will Countenance any
Illegal Proceedings; the Liberties of the People being no ways less
dear to me than the Preservation of my just Prerogative: And I
will give such Directions in the Present Case, as will I hope, Answer
the End desired.
The House Adjourns untill Monday Morning Eight of the Clock.
