The Question was put whether by the repealing Law made 5th
Day of September 1704 all Laws antecedent to 26th April 1704 were
not thereby repealed saving what are thereby excepted and saved or
not. Resolved in the Affirmative.
George Plater & Edmund Jenings Esqrs from the Upper House
Delivered to Mr Speaker a Bill Entituled a Supplementary Act to

the Act for the Ordering & regulating the Militia of this; Province

for the better Defence & Security thereof indorsed thus, [The text
of this endorsement is printed at page 7.]
And thus, [The text of this endorsement is printed at page 8.]
The Bill Entituled an Act for Limitation of Officers fees Read
the second time; and Passed and sent to the Upper House by Collo
Gale and five more.
Mr Taylor a Representative of Dorchester County appeared in
the House this Afternoon
The Bill Entituled a Supplementary Act for the Ordering &
regulating the Militia &c.
Read the first time & Ordered to Lye on the Table
The House Adjourns untill to Morrow Morning Eight of the
Clock.

The House met according to Adjournment &c

And the Bill Entituled an Act to Impower the Inhabitants of
Ann arundell and Prince Georges Counties to make the Main branch
of Patuxent River Navigable &c. Was sent to the Upper house by
Mr Beale & Mr Magruder.

Mr Attorney from the Upper House Delivered to Mr Speaker a
Petition of the Freeholders of Cecil County Indorsed.
Referred to the Consideration of this House.
The Question was put whether the Sumes to be filled up in the
Bill for the Relief of Prisoners for Debt be one hundred pounds or
fifty pounds.
Resolved that the Sume be one hundred pounds
