The House Adjourns untill two of the Clock in the Afternoon.

Saturday Post Meridiem.

The House met and Adjourned untill Monday Morning Eight
of the Clock.

March 19

Monday Morning March 19th 1732.

The House met according to Adjournment. The Members were
Called & all present as on Saturday, the Proceedings of Saturday
were read.
Mr Goldsborough is added to the Committee of Laws.
Ordered that Collo Gale, Mr Beale, Mr Hamilton Mr Hemsley
Mr Smith, and Mr Crabb, be Appointed a Committee to inspect the
Laws; and to report to the House what are now in Force.
A Petition of the Inhabitants of Ann arundell & Prince Georges
Counties praying leave to bring in a Bill to make Patuxent River
above Queen Ann Town navigable, was read; And leave given to
bring in a Bill according to prayer.
A Bill Entituled an Act to Impower the Inhabitants of Ann
Arundell & Prince Georges Counties to make the Main branch of the
River Patuxent navigable Above Queen Ann Town in Prince
Georges County aforesaid was read the first and second Time; by
Especial Order and passed & sent to the Upper House by Mr War-
field and Mr Sprigg.
Resolved that for the future the House appoint the Clerks to the
severall Committees.
The Question was put that the Clerk appointed by the Committee
of Laws as Clerk Assistant be removed; And that Mr Thomas Clark,
be put in his place.
Resolved in the Affirmative.
Collo Ward from the Upper House Delivered to Mr Speaker
the following Message. [This message is printed at page 7.]
The House Adjourns until Two of the Clock in the Afternoon.

A Petition of several Inhabitants of St. Stephens Parish in Cecil
County, was read & leave given to bring in a Bill according to Prayer.
Collo Tilghman from the Upper House Delivered to Mr Speaker
a Petition of Divers Inhabitants of Talbot County, A Petition of
Divers Inhabitants Dorchester County, And a Petition of Several
Inhabitants of Queen Anns County Severally Indorsed. Referred
to the Consideration of this House.
