Read the second time the Bill Entituled an Act to prevent the
false packing Tobacco and will not pass & sent by George Plater
Esqr
Read the second time the Bill Entituled an Explanatory Act of the
Act Entituled an Act to encourage Adventurers in Iron Works and
passed, the last three Lines being omitted, & sent by Michael
Howard Esqr
It is resolved by this house that it be an Instruction to the Com-
mittee appointed by this house to join the Committee of the Lower
house concerning his Lordships Answer to their joint Address, that
this House being sensible that it is not only unnecessary but indecent
to expect an Account of the neat Amount of the Receipt of his Lord-
ships Quit Rents & Alienation fines; Therefore that the said Com-
mittee do desire to be informed what Points or heads are intended
to be made the subject Matter of the Address proposed to be pre-
sented to the Governor concerning his Lordships Equivalent
A Bill from the Lower house by Mrs Hall & Wilson Entituled an
Act for erecting a Town in Kent County on the south side of Sassa-
fras River on a Tract of Land called Tolechester at the Place where
the ferry is now kept thus Endorsed
