May it please your Honours
Upon perusing Our Journals We find We omitted to send you
up a Report from a Committee of this house in relation to the Bill
Entituled an Act to remedy some defects in an Indenture of Bargain
and Sale from Michael Curtis and Sarah his Wife late of St Mary;
county deceased, wch we conceive ought to have been sent with the
Bill, We apprehend it puts the facts alledged in the said Bill in so
equitable a Light that if nothing appears more to your house than
We have been apprised of We can't doubt your Honours agreeing
with us to pass the Bill, & therefore as the aiding Defects in the
forms of conveying Lands has always been a Practice in this Prov-
ince and is in our Opinion absolutely necessary in infant Countries
We have sent you again the Bill with the Report before mentioned
and desire your Honours will agree with us to pass it
