same terms with the Bills for the Duty, and the money to be Added
to the Capital Stock and Managed as the Duty.
To add the word, Interest, in 23d and 27* and Instead of for
other Debts, as herein before mentioned Page 29th to Add, for the
Uses and Purposes aforesaid Page 30th to leave out, for the In-
terest aforesaid.
That the Duty be payable in Bills of Exchange only, And Security
be given by the Masters of Ships as in Case of other Duties, And the
Naval Officer is Declared to be answerable; and that the Naval
Officers may retain their Salary out of other Duties payable in bills
of Credit, and be allowed the same in their Accots
That there be a Provision made to Oblige the English Trustees to
send in proper Testimonials of the Transfer of the Stocks for the use
of this Province and of their other proceedings.
That an Humble Address be presented to the Lord Proprietary,
praying that his Lordship would take upon himself the Inspection of

the proceedings of the English Trustees, and in case of the refusal,
Death Disability or Incapacity of any of them to Act; to nominate
other persons to Act untill further Provision be made therein by the
Assembly, And that his Lordship would Condesend to have his name
incerted in the Bill for these Purposes.
That the London Trustees or their Successors be empowered to sell
the remaining part of the Stock at the end of the Thirty one years
to sink the rest of the Bills of Credit.
That the Bill be further Explained in Excepting the dues to the
Lord Proprietary; other than the fines and the fines and Forfeitures
included in the Bill
That the Commrs or Trustees shall not be Discharged till the Trust
be fully Executed.
Provided always that no Commr or Trustee or his Sureties shall be
answerable for any Mismanagement but what shall happen in his own
time.
Besides the aforegoing Addition and Amendments there may
probably be some other slight Amendments which may have escaped
your Conferrees observation and may Occur on a Carefull reading
of the Bill, all which your Conferrees Submit to the Consideration
of both Houses
