Col Belt Added to the Committee of Agreviances and Courts of
Justice
Col Gale Brings in a Bill Entituled an Act for Relieving Sundry
Inhabitants in this province from the Charges of Prosecutions for
not burning Tobacco In Pursuance of an Act of Assembly Entituled
an Act for Emitting and making Current Ninety Thousand Pounds
Current Money of Maryland in bills of Credit.
Which Bill we Read in his Place and afterwards it was Read
in the House the first Time and Ordered to Lie on the Table.
The Hearing of Mr Tildens Petition Continued. Mr Mathews
from the Committee of Aggrievances brings in the following Report.

By the Committee of Aggrievances 8th April 1735.
Its Humbly Offered by your Committee as an Aggrievance.

That the Secretary of this province hath given Particular Instruc-
tions to the Clerk of the Provincial Court Office Not to do Any
Service in the said Office until Judgment Bond given for payment
of the Fee or fees that should arise thereon by which several Suters
and Other the Inhabitants have been greatly Injured and Justice
Obstructed, all which is Submitted to the Consideration of the
House

The House adjourns Until to Morrow Morning Nine of the
Clock.

Thursday Morning April 10th 1735.

The House Met According to Adjournment. The Members
called Over and all present as Yesterday The Proceedings of Yes-
terday was Read Over. The Question was put whether the follow-
ing Question (Viz.) whether a bill shall be brought in to pay officers
ffees in Current Money at a Stated Price, should be put or not.
Resolved in the affirmative.
