Col Gale and Col Hooper Sent to Acquaint the Governour This
House hath prepared an Address to his Excellency and Desireth to
Know when and where he will Receive it.
They return and Acquaint Mr Speaker the Governour will Receive
it to Morrow Morning at Eleven of the Clock in the Conferrance
Chamber.
A Bill to Cut of the Entail of Two Tracts of Land in Baltimort
County, The One Called Morning Choice, the other Called Morning
Choice addition and to Entail in Lieu thereof Part of Vulcans Res
in Cecill County, Read the First and second Time by Especial
Order passed and Sent to the Upper House by Mr George and M
Johnson.
The House Adjourns until to Morrow Morning Nine of the
Clock

The House Met according to Adjournment
The Members Called Over and all present as Yesterday the Pro
ceedings of Yesterday were Read Over.
Ordered that a Bill be Brought in to Amend the Act Preventing
the Importation of Trashy Tobacco from Virginia.
The Bill Entituled a Supplementary Act to the Act Intituled an
Act for quieting possessions &c. Read the second time and will no
Pass.
Col Gale and Twelve More were Ordered to Attend the Gov
ernour with the Address prepared Yesterday
Col Gale Brought in a Bill Entituled a Supplementary Act to the
Act Entituled an Act for Laying an Imposition on Negroes, and on
Several Sorts of Liquors Imported and also on Irish Servants, to
prevent the Importing too great a Number of Irish Papists into
this province, which was Read the first Time and Ordered to Lie
on the Table.
Mr Key Brings in a Bill Entituled an Act Impowering the Rector
Vestrymen, And Church Wardens of King and Queen parish in S
Marys and Charles Counties to Purchase Two Acres of Land in
the said parish in St Marys County to Build a Church on. And
for Raising a fund as well to Compleate the said purchase, and
building as to Repair Newport Church in Charles County, within
the said parish, which was Read the first Time and Ordered to Lye
on the Table.
The House adjourns Until two of the Clock in the afternoon
