The House adjourns Until to Morrow Morning Nine of the
Clock

Tuesday Morning Aprill 8th 1735

April 8

The House met According to Adjournment. The Members
Called Over and all were present as yesterday Except Mr Waughop
The Proceedings of Yesterday were Read Over.
The Bill Entituled an Act for Regulating of Ordinaries &c Read
the Second Time passed and sent to the Upper House by Col Gale
and Mr Smith.
Ordered That Mr Dulany and Col Gale prepare An Address to
the Governour to Request his Excellency to Order the Accounts
of the Disposition of the Money heretofore Raised on the three
pence p Hogshead, for Arms and Ammunition, to be laid before
This House.
Mr Dulany and Col Gale brings in the following Address to The
Governour.
To His Excellency Samuel Ogle Esqr Governour of Maryland.
The Humble address of the Lower House of Assembly

May it please Your Excellency

This House having taken into Consideration The raising of and
for Supplying the Country with Armes and Ammunition for its
Necessary Defence, And it being the undoubted Right of the People
to know how such Money as has been Levied on them for the Publick
Use has been applied, We pray that Your Excellency will be pleased
to give Directions that the Accounts of the three pence p Hogshead
for Purchasing Arms and Ammunition heretofore Raised, be laid
before This House.
Which was Read Approved and Ordered to be Ingrossed.
The Bill Entituled an Act ascertaining the Gauge and Tare of
Tobacco Hogsheads &c Read a Second Time passed and Sent to the
Upper House by Mr Key and Mr Hemsley.
The House Adjourns until Two of the Clock in the Afternoon

Tuesday Post Meridiem.
The House met According to Adjournment &c.
The Petition of John Brannock Complaining of An Undue Elec-
tion in Dorchester County being Read, on full Hearing was Re-
jected.
Col Gale Delivers Mr Speaker the Address to the Governour
Ingrossed.
