The House Met according to Adjournment &c.
George Plater Esqr from the Upper House delivers Mr Speaker
the Bill Entituled an Act for the Preservation of Harbours &c. In-
dorsed read the second time and with the following Amendments
will Pass in Line of 3d Page Instead of the words the Owner or
Owners of such Mace or Places be put such .Person or .Persons as
shall have obtained a Right from his Lordship and in the Eight
Line of 4th Page between the words Enacted, and That, Insert by the
Authority aforesaid
Philip Lee Esqr from the Upper House delivers Mr Speaker a
Petition of Thomas Marshall of Prince George County praying

Leave to bring in a Bill to make Valid a Certificate of acknowledg-
ment in a Deed Indorsed referred to the Consideration of the Lower
House.
The Question was put whether Doctor Chase Docter Mercer and
Rubin Roberts were such Residents at the Time of the Election for
the City of Annapolis as Entituled them to a Vote or not.
