were such Residents at the time of the Election for the City of An-
napolis as Entituled them to A Vote or not Resolved in the
Negative.
The Question was put Whether it doth not appear to This House
That Mr Gumming had at the last Election of Members for this City
A Majority of Legal Voters or not Resolved in the affirmative.
The Question was put whether the Election of Mr Richard Fran-
cis a Representative of the City of Annapolis was Illegal or not
Resolved in the Affirmative.
Mr Richard Francis was sent for and on His Attendance was ac-
quainted by Mr Speaker he was Discharged from Further Attendance
on this House, his Election being Illegal.
Mr Tench Francis hath Leave to go Home
The House Adjourns Until to-Morrow Morning Nine of the
Clock.

The Members called Over and all present as Yesterday.
The Proceedings of Yesterday were Read Over.
