Governour will receive it at four of the Clock in the afternoon in
the Conferrance Chamber.
The House adjourns until Two of the Clock in the Afternoon

Col Gale and Twelve More Sent to Attend the Governour with the
Address. They Return and Say they presented the Same
The House Adjourns Until Monday Morning nine of the Clock

The House Met according to Adjournment. The Members Called
Over and all present as on Saturday, The Proceedings of Saturday
were read Over.
Ordered a Bill be brought in to prevent raising of Swine in
Towns Except within Inclosures.
The Governour Communicated to Mr Speaker the following
Letter.

Gentlemen of the Lower House of Assembly
It is a very great Satisfaction to me to have Your Approbation
of the Plan of the Governours House which I shall Endeavour to
get Executed after the best Manner I am Able, And hope that in
this and every thing Else Intrusted to my Care I shall always be so
happy as to preserve the good Opinion you are pleased to Express
of my Conduct hitherto.

A Bill Entituled an Act ascertaining the Gauge and Tare of
Tobacco Hogsheads and to prevent Groping Cutting & Defacing
Tobacco taken on Board Ships or Vessels upon freight and to
Direct the payment for Tobacco Contained in every Hogshead.
Read the first Time and Ordered to Lie on the Table.
A Bill Entituled an Act Directing the Manner of Trying and
Punishing Divers Felonies Restraining Infamous persons front
Carrying Guns Ascertaining how Fees of Criminals shall be paid
and obliging the County Clerks to keep and render an Account of
the Same, Read the first time and Ordered to Lie on the Table.
The Bill Entituled an Act for the preservation of Harbours &c.
Read the Second [time] passed and Sent to the Upper House by Mr
Moale and Mr Mathews.
An Ingrossed Bill Entituled an Act for the Adjournmt of the
Courts of Assize &c. Read and Assented to and sent to the Upper
House with the Paper Bill by Mr Stoughton and three more.
