May it please your Honours
This House having taken into Consideration the great Difficulty
the Inhabitants of this Province are under of getting mony to dis-
charge their Quit Rents according to the Tenor of their Grants and
being very desirous to come into an Agreement with his Lordship to
discharge the said Rents by an Equivalent to be given to his Lord-
ship in lieu of them which we doubt not but your Honours are very
sensible would be a very great Ease to the People and therefore we
desire your House will Join with us in an Address to his L^dship on
this Subject and that if you think fit so to do that you would please
to appoint any of your House to Join with some Members of this
House to prepare such Address
