John Hall and Benjamin Tasker Esqrs are sent to the Lower
House to Acquaint the Speaker that his Lordship the Lord Pro-
prietary Requires his Attendance with the rest of the House to see
the Bill Entituled an Act to Continue the process and proceedings in
the Provincial Court and County Courts, and for Tryal of Capital
Offences at the next Provincial Court to be held the third Tuesday
in May next, receive the Assent.
The Sneaker and the rest of the House Attend, and the afore-
mentioned Bill being presented by the Speaker, the Right Honour-
able the Lord Proprietary by the Clerk of this House Declares his
Assent to the same
A Bill from the Lower House by Mrss Goldsborough and Nedels
Entituled an Act for the Erecting a Town on the West side of great
Choptank River in Talbot County for Laying into Lotts Thirty
Acres of Land, thus Endorsed

By the Lower House of Assembly 27th March 1 733
Read the first and Second time by an Especial Order and will pass
Signed p Order M Macnemara Ci Lo. Ho.

Adjourned till to Morrow Morning Eight of the Clock

The following Message is sent to the Lower House with the Bill
for Regulating Ordinaries &c by Col Tilghman

Gentlemen
Although this House Could not Recede from their Amendment
proposed to the Bill Entituled an Act for Regulating of Ordinaries,
and the better Regulating of Ordinary Keepers and Innholders
within this province, Yet we should have made a more particular
Answer to your Message of 26th Instant by Mrss Dashiels and Hamil-
ton, if the Rules of parliamentary proceedings Could have been
found by us ever to have given Countenance to an Intercourse of Mes-
sages between the two Houses on Amendments proposed to a Bill,
and therefore We have returned the said Bill to your House
