without any Acknowledgmt whereby in strictness of Law the said
Sr Thomas Johnson's Title to the said Land becomes prcarious, And
the sd Edward Hancox departing this Life soon after the makeing
of the sd deed the said Sr Thomas Johnson Cannott now procure any
further Conveyance or Assureance to the sd Land the Truth of all
which Allegacons plainly appearing to this prsent Generall Assembly
It is humbly prayed That it may be Enacted
And be it Enacted by the Queens most Excellent Majty by and
with the Advice and Consent of her Majtys Presidt Councill and As-
sembly of this Province and the Authority of the same That the
aforesd deed of Conveyance soe As aforesaid made from the said
Edward Hancox to the sd Sr Thomas Johnson shall for ever be As
good Valid and Effectuall in Law to all Intents and purposes what-
soever As if the same had been by the said Edward Hancox in his
Life Time legally Acknowledged and Recorded in the Provinciall
Court or County Court of Baltimore County And that the sd
Sr Thomas Johnson by Vertue of the sd Conveyance and of This
Act shall have hold and Enjoy to him and his Heires forever As
good an Estate in Fee Simple of in and to the sd Land in the sd Con-
veyance menconed As he Could or ought to have had, if the said deed
or Conveyance had been legallv Acknowledged by the sd Edward
Hancox in his Life Time, the want of the Acknowledgmt thereof
according to the sd Warrant or Letter of Attorney or the due and
legall Recording thereof or any Law Use or Custome to the Contrary
notwithstanding

An Act for the Naturalization of Samuel Guichard of Ann Arrundell
County Planter
Be it Enacted by the Queens most Excellent Majty by and with the
Advice & Consent of her Majtys Presidt Councill & Assembly of this
Province and the Authority of the same That Samuel Guichard of
Ann Arrundell County Planter be in all Things Adjudged taken
Reputed had held and Governed As her Majtys Naturall born Subject
of this Province, And that he bv the Authority aforesaid be Enabled
and Adjudged to all Intents and purposes to demand Challenge Ask
have hold and Enjoy any Lands Tenemts Rents and Hereditamts to
which he might be in any wise Entituled As if he had been her Majtys
free and naturall born Subject of this province and alsoe That he be
