John Beale Esqr Collo Fendall, Mr Joshua George Edmund Jen-
nings Esqr and Collo Joseph Belt who return and Say they Deliv-
ered the same.

The House Adjourns till to Morrow Morning at 8 of the Clock

Saturday July the 12th 1729.

The House met this Day according to Adjournment. The Mem-
bers were Called and all Present as Yesterday except Majr King,
absent thro' Sickness. The proceedings of Yesterday were read
over.

July 12

Mr Thomas Johnson Collo Ephraim Augustine Herman and Mr
Stephen Knight three of the Representatives of Cecill County Ap-
pear in the House this Day.
It is ordered that a Bill be brought in for the Punishment and
Speedy Tryal of Negroes.
A Bill Entituled an Act for the better Administration of Justice
in Testamentary Affairs granting Administrations recovery of
Legacies Securing filial Portions & Distribution of Intestates Es-
tates and for repealing the Several Laws therein Mentioned was
read the first time & Ordered to Lye on the Table.
James Harris Esqr Appears in the House this Day
The House Adjourns untill 2 of the Clock in the Afternoon

Saturday at 2 of the clock in the afternoon

The House met According to Adjournment the Members were
Called & all Present as in the Morning.
Mr John Magruder and Mr Ralph Crabb have Leave of the House
to go home untill Monday.
Philemon Loyd Esqr from the Upper House Delivers to Mr
Speaker the Petition of Thomas Worsley in Ann arundell County
