To which the following answer is prepared and Sent to the Lower
House by Colo Rd Tilghman Viz.

By the Upper House of Assembly October the 5th 1728
Gentlemen

The time of sitting for the dispatch of the publick Business of
this Province proposed in your Message of this day by James Holli-
day Esqr & Mr Thomas Tolly is agreed to by this House
Signed p Order Geo Plater Cl Up Ho.

Read the petition of the Inhabitants of the Upper part of Saint
Pauls Parish in Queen Anns County praying a division of the said
Parish which is ordered to be thus endorsed viz.

By the Upper House of Assembly October the 5th 1728

Read and Recommended to the Consideration of the Lower
House of Assembly
Signed p Order Geo. Plater Cl. Up. Ho.

Read the petition of John Critchard and William Kid of Calvert
County praying relief against a Contract made for Building the
Court House of the said County as well as Satisfaction for their
Labour as also the petition of Clarina Gillys a poor languishing
prisoner in the said County which are ordered to be thus endorsed
viz.

By the Upper House of Assembly October the 5th 1728

Read and referred to the Consideration of the Lower House of
Assembly
Which petitions so severally endorst were

mund Jenings Esqr viz.

May it please your Honours.
We have appointed Mr Samuel Hanson Mr Key Mr Jenings &
Mr Knight members of our House a Committee to inspect the Pub-
lick Records lately transcribed at the Expence of the Country which
we acquaint your Honours with that you may if you think it proper
appoint some of your House to joyn with them
