722 Assembly Proceedings, September 23-October 26, 1723.

Which was sent to the Upper House by the Gent Appointed.
They return and say they Delivered it.
Colo Tilghman from the Upper House Delivers Mr Speaker
the Bill for reviveing the Act for Limitation of Officers ffees
& the Bill for Laying the publick Levey for the year 1723
Severally thus Endorst viz.

By the Upper House of Assembly

Octobr the 26. 1723.
Read and will pass.
Signd p ordr Saml Skippon Cl Up Ho.

Thereupon the Bills Aforesaid past for Engrossing.
The Above mentioned Bills being Engrost were read and
Assented to and were so Endorst and sent to the Upper House
by Colo Ward & Mr Traverse. They return and say they
Delivered them

Ordered that Richard Young Deliver to Thomas Jobson
the Mace, the Keys of the Stadt House Flagg and Drums
&c and the possession of the Gate House which the said
Richard Young Complys with by delivering up the mace in
the presence of the House.
Benjamin Tasker Esqr from the Upper House delivers Mr
Speaker the following Message Viz.

By the Upper House of Assembly

Octobr the 26th 1723
Gent.
This House has Appointed Colo Samll Young to be Joynd
with Mr Joseph Hill and John Beale Esqr in a Committee to
Apportion the publick Levey.
Signd p Ordr Saml Skippon Cl Up Ho.

Ordered that Colo John Mackall and John Beale Esqr go to
the Upper House and Acquaint his Honour the Governour
that nothing of Publick Business remains before this house
unfinished.
They Return and Say they delivered the Message.
Col Young from the Upper House Acquaints Mr Speaker
that his Honr the Governour requires him and the whole
House to attend him Immediately in the Upper House
Thereupon Mr Speaker with the whole House go to the

Upper House where his Honour the Governour was pleasd
to Enact the severall Engrost Bills following being first As-
sented to by the Upper House into Laws by Sealing them
with the Great Scale of the Right Honrble the Lord proprie-
