Obligation of our duty diligently to apply ourselves to the
Consideration of any means that may tend thereto; and if
we should happily agree upon proper methods for so doing
leaves us no Room to Doubt of your Concurrence.

The Three Bills Brought up Yesterday from the Lower
House, sent to the Lower House by John Rousby and Benjamin
Tasker Esqrs who returns and says they deliver'd them.
His Lordship's Answer to the Addresses of both Houses
of Assembly Anno Dmi 1721 being a Duplicate the original
of which miscarried is sent to the Lower House with the
following Message by Colo Holland viz.

By the Upper House of Assembly Sepr the 25th 1723
Gentlemen.
The inclos'd is a Duplicate of his Lordship's the Lord Pro-
prietary's Answer to the Addresses of both Houses in the
year 1721 the Original of which miscarried as his Honour
has inform'd us, and Comunicated to us by his Honr in Ordr
to be transmitted to yor House
