Lpp had not already made a Disposicon in that Affair and to
two such Worthy Gent we should then have Concurred heart-
ily with You in our Endeavours for Acquiring so good a Fund

you will observe by the Instruction already sent you And the
necessity of the Regulacon of Ordinaries being obvious to
every member of your House. We Desire you will take this
Affair again into your Consideracon.

the following Mesasge Viz.
By the upper House of Assembly June 3d 1717.
His Excy having offered to the Consideracon of this House
a part of the tenth Article of their Lpps Instruction's to him
have herewith sent it you Viz:
Article tenth. Whereas many Laws that were made be-
fore the Crown interpos'd in the Government of Maryland
Appear to be nulled or at least laid aside by some Subsequent
Laws which were made during their Majtys rule and are yet
essentiall to the peace and Quiet of the People of the Province
under the protection and Government of a propry as well as
to his Honour and Safety, Presidents whereof you may find
among those made in 1681 and none seems to be more Es-
sentiall than an Act which you are to endeavr to Pass for
Punishment of such as shall Counterfeit our great Scale.
Therefore We Desire you'll appt two of yor Members to be
joyned with one of this Board to inspect into those Laws to
note which of them 'tis necessary to renew.
