The referrences from last Sessions relating to Collo Lloyd's
and Esqr Rousby's Affairs is Further referred to next Ses-
sions Colo Lloyd being sick and it being a Busy Time of the
Year.

Whereas on a Mocon made Last Sessions that whereas Mr
Roger Woollford in Consideracon of £ 16 paid him in the
Publick Levy, undertook to raise a Flagg Staff neare the Stadt
House in the City of Annapolis with Sufficient Braces and a
Cedar Frame and had not as then Performed the Same,
Whereupon it was then ordered that notice should be given the
said Woollford to compleat what he so undertook as afd by
the Last day of October last or appear before the Barr of this
House the first Week of this Sessions to Shew Cause why he
had not Complyed with his Promise But for that the said
Woollford has not as yet had notice of the said Order Ordered
that new Sumons be issued ag' the Said Woollford to Appear
at The Barr of this House the first Week of the next Sessions
whensoever it shall be held to shew Cause why he hath not
Complyed with his said Promise unless he finish the same
before that Time.
Ordered that Mr Bordley Mr Rousby and Capt ffrisby pre-
pare an Address to the Lords Propry and Guilford with all
Convenient Speed.
Ordered the Comittee of Laws Prepaire a Bill for the Publi-
cacon of Marriages and to Prevent unlawfull Marriages.
Bill for the Adjournmt of Talbot and Balternore County
Courts read in the house and thus endorst Viz:

By the Lower House of Assembly Eodem Die read the
third Time by especiall Ordr and Past for engrosing.
Signed p Ordr. M. Jenifer Cl Lo: House.

Colo Coursey Collo Ennalls and Mr Lowe from the upper
house deliver Mr Speaker the following Message Viz:

By the upper House of Assembly June the 3d 1717.

Gent. My Lord Propry insisting that the Ordinary Lycen-
ces are a Part of his prerogative and having already appro-
priated the Fines arising thereon for the Support of his Lpp's
Secretaries who are the persons that Transact all his Lpps
Affairs in relation to this Province without any fee or Reward
(that We can Learn) but wl accrues from the Secretaries
Office It seems therefore Inconsistent with his Lpps Honr that
this Board should enter on an Affair that he hath Already
determined in favour of his two Secretary's who have been
very Active and Instrumentall in the happy Settlement of our
