name at the Instance of any person Aggrieved in the Same
Manner and under like directions as the Sherif's bonds and
other publick bonds are allowed to be, and that for the future
all such bonds be taken payable to his Lordship in not less
than Two hundred Pound Sterling penalty as usuall and
Lodged in the Commisary Generalls office for the Benefit of
those that shall have Cause to sue the same.

Ordered that Samuel Young Esqr publick Treasurer of the
western Shore pay unto his Excy the Governour the money
allowed him in the journall of the Committee of Accounts this
Sessions.
The Petition of William Thomas Complaining of the Land
Commissioners of Kent County Read and referred till next
Sessions and ordered all persons Concerned have notice there-
of.
Bill Impowering Commissioners to Sell the Estates of CoP
Thomas Smithson of Talbot County and Thomas Smithson of
Dorchester County.
Ordered to be thus Endorst Viz.

By the Lower House of Assembly April the 18th 1720
May it please your Honours.
This house are not willing to alter the Sale of the said

L.H.J.

Smithsons Lands but that they remain to be Sold Generally
towards Satisffying the parties Injured by the Warranty
therein mentioned their Severall Damages and Costs but are
willing the Severall Devisees shall have the Liberty of redeem-
ing their Respective Estates Devised them as well to the heirs,
and as to the amendment in makeing the Widow Wrightson
restitution for the rents she has paid and of adding Coll
Tilghman in the stead of Mr Dashiel we agree with your
Honours with which if your house Concurrs, The bill may be
amended and will pass.
