no other Journalls than according to the agreement of this
house made with their Clerk the Second day of August 1716.
Collo Holland and Six more from the Upper House delivers
Mr Speaker the following Message Viz:
By the Upper House of Assembly.
April the 14th 1720.
Gentlemen.
So f arr as your Message by Mr Tyler and Mr Lee relates to
the redressing any Generall aggrievance or to the hearing
the Complaints of particular persons that have not a right
to Another Kind of Judicature we Intend not to Interfere
with the proposalls of your house but so far as the Subject
matter thereof relates to the Conduct of a member of this
house in the Execution of a Commission from the Govern-
ment It seems to be the more Rightfull Province of his Ex-
cellency and this house to consider thereof But least there
Should be any Misapprehensions betwixt the two houses on
this Occasion and for the Preservation of a Mutual respect
and good agreement betwixt them we propose that you joyne
Some Members of your house that are not Interested in the
affair to conferr with Philemon Lloyd Esq Coll: Matthew
Tilghman Ward and Thomas Bordley Esqr of this House in
the Conference Chamber about the Subject matter toucht on
by your above mentioned Message.

Which was Read and the Question being put whether the
Conference be agreed to or not, Carried in the affirmative by
Majority of Votes and thereupon Mr Philip Lee Mr Joseph
Hill John Rousby Esqr Mr George Dashiel Mr Lloyd and Collo
Herman are appointed to joyn in the Conference.
And Ordered the following Message be prepared Viz.
