The Petition of John Peter Zenger praying that he may
have the Liberty of Printing the Laws for the Severall Coun-
tys the Provinciall Court and Upper and Lower house of
Assembly was read and
Resolved that the Petitioner have the Liberty of Printing
the Laws for the Severall Countys Provinciall Court and a
Body for the upper House and another for the Lower House
of Assembly and that he bind the severall Bodies for which
the Severall Counties and Publick shall pay Seven hundred
pounds of Tobacco p Body.
Which petition was so Indprst and Sent to The Upper
House by Mr Rousby and Mr Caldwell.
They Return and Say they Delivered it.
Bill Reviving an Act Ascertaining the Gauge and Tare of
Tobacco hhds &ca was read the first and Second times by
Especiall Order and will pass which was so Endorst and sent
to the Upper House by Mr Rousby and Mr Caldwell
