Health and when I shall be there permitted to give an Ac-
count of my own Conduct; and of the misconduct of others in
relation to this Government, I then propose to be a Suppliant
for my Quietus from a Station, I do not think Consistant
with the Character I have hitherto (by the permission of
Providence and favour of the Crown) acquired, and which
I think is Incumbent on me to maintain, Yet whatever Condi-
tion of Life it Shall Please God to allot me, My Zealous
Assiduous and affectionate application to promote the Wel-
fare and Prosperity of Maryland, Shall never be wanting to
the Utmost of my Capacity.

William and Mary Parish for ever read the first time and
Ordered a Second reading to Morrow.
Bill for the Relief of Samuel Cover was Read the first Time

Yesterday's procedings are Read
Capt Codd has the leave of this House to go Home.
The Petition of Richard Thatcher praying to be relieved
against An Act formerly past in favour of Robert Roberts
for the Sale of John Toe's Land was read and referred till
next Sessions, and ordered the parties Concerned have notice
that if they think fitt they may Appear next Sessions to
Answer the same
The Petition of Richard Bennett Esqr Read and referred
till next Sessions and Ordered all parties Concerned have
notice thereof, if they think fitt, to answer the Same.
The Petition of John Macclaster praying leave to bring in a
Bill for the Sale of the Lands of John Bozman Gent Deceased
towards paying his debts read and referred till next Sessions
and ordered the heirs of John Bozman or others Concerned
Appear then if they think fitt to Answer the same
Bill for the Naturalization of Sundry Persons therein Men-
tioned Read the first and Second Times by Especiall order and
will pass, which was thus Endorst.
Bill fur Vesting an Estate in fee Simple in the old Stadt
house at St Marys County to the use of William and Mary
Parish and their Successors read the Second time and will
pass which was so Endorst.
