think it Reasonable that if that Land be sold she should be
Again repaid so much tobo as she Can make Appear She has
disburst on that Occasion the Land being yett uncultivated
And no benefitt Accruing to her by it. And we are likewise
of Opinion that forasmuch as it appears that it was the prin-
cipall Design of the within Thomas Smithson of Talbott
County that the Chiefe of his Lands and personal Estate
should remain to the Parish of St Michaell in the said County
And the ffree Schools in this Province, We think that the
Lands so Devised ought not to be Exposed to Sale if the
other Land and the remaining Part of the psonal Estate
should be found SufP to recompence the Damages. And We

propose that Col Richd Tilghman be Appointed a Commr in
the Room of Mr Dashiell who lived remote from the Land.

A Bill to supply Certain Defects in the Conveyance of
Lands from Henry Gibbs &c.
A Bill for Confirming the last Will & Testament of Wm
Bozman &c.
A Bill for the reliefe of John Deavour of Baltemore County
&c.
These four Bills in this house being read are on Each of
them Severally thus written Viz.
