A Bill for the Relief of John Deavour of Baltemore County

To which is thus Written Viz.
Aprill the 16th 1720
Read & Assented to by the Lowr House of Assembly And
Signed p Order M Jenifer Cl. Lo. Ho.

The bill to Invest an Estate in Fee to Jno Clements &c.
Past in this House is Sent Down to the Lower House by Col
Young who returns & Says he Delivered the same.
Col Mackall and five more from the Lower house deliver Col
Holland the following Bill Viz.
A Supplementary Bill to the Act Entituled an Act for
Settling a Revenue on her Majesty's Present Govr
Which is thus Endorst Viz.

By the Lowr House of Assembly
Aprill the 16th 1720
Read the first and Second Times by Especiall Order and will
pass Signed p Ordr M. Jenifer Cl. Lo. Ho.

Mr Caldwell and Mr Dent Deliver his Excy the following
Bill Viz.
A Bill to Confirm a deed of Bargain and Sale from Francis
Swanson &c.
Which is thus Endorst Viz.

Eodem Die, Read with the Amendments proposed & will
pass.
Signed p Order M Jenifer Cl Lo Ho.

A Bill Empowering Certaine Commrs and Trustees to Dis-
pose of the remaining part of the psonall Estates which were
of Thos Smithson late of Dorchester County Gent. & Thos
Smithson late of Talbott County Esqr decd &c. is thus Endorst
Viz.
By the Upper house of Assembly
Aprill the 16th 1720
Upon reading of the within Bill we find that you have re-
ferred a right of redemption to the heirs only & have Excluded
the Sevll Devisees whereas we are of Opinion that the De-
visees ought to have the preemption of their respective Estates,
And It being represented to us that Mary Wrightson widow
one of the Devisees mentioned in the will of the within Thos
Smithson of Talbott hath paid all the Arrears of the Quitt
Rents due to the Lord Propry for the Land Devised to her, We
