part of the lands laid out in the City aforesaid for the use
of the publick,

We Doe hereby Certifye that on Tuesday the tenth day of

March Anno Domini 1718 Wee called before us Mr Lancellot
Todd being former Proprietor of the Land within the City
aforesd who being first sworne on the holy Evangelists of
Almighty God declared, That he cannot remember that he
received any other sumes on Account of his being former
Proprietor of the land within the City of Annapolis than what
is hereunder mentioned of.
Mr Richard Beard for 1 Lott, Mr Henry Mathews for 1
Ditto Mrs Margret Freeman for 1 Do Mr John Beale for 1
Ditto 0..10s..0, Mr John Gresham for I Ditto 00..10s..0, Mr
Thomas Bordley for 2 or 3 Do at 0..10s..0, each, Doctr Thomas
Major for I or 2 Ditto at 0..10s..0 Each, Mr Thomas Holmes
for 1 Ditto, 0..10s..0.
And further the said Todd Declares upon his Oath that he
has never received any Satisfaction for the publick grounds
within the City of Annapolis, But that about the year he
was informed by Mr William Taylard that he was Ordered
1300 and odd pounds of tobacco on the Sherriff of Somerset
County which tobacco he never received nor knew any further
thereof. And further the said Lancellot Todd declares that he
verily believes he never received any Satisfaction from Coll:

Nicholson or Coll: Dorsey for any lotts by them held in the
said City but remembers that Col. Dorsey refused when De-
manded. All which in Complyance with the Directions of the
clause in the Act of Assembly aforesaid Is humbly reported to
the Lower House of Assembly

An Engrost bill for relief of John Beale and Richd Beale a
Minor was read and ordered to Be thus Endorst Viz.

June the 4th 1719
Read and Assented to by the Lower house of Assembly and

The house adjourns till to Morrow Morning Eight a Clock.
