past has been continued on our Journalls on the referrence
but as yet nothing is done therein by your House as we can
perceive We therefore desire your Honours further notice
thereof.

Smith.
They return and say they delivered it.
Bill explaining the repealing law was sent to the Upper
House by Mr Rousby Majr Emerson Capt Colegate and Mr
Earle.
They return & say they delivered it.

The House adjourns till to morrow morning Eight a Clock.

Tuesday May the 26th 1719

The house meet according to adjournment. Yesterdays
proceedings are read.
Bill for relief of John Clements was read and ordered to be
thus Endorst viz:

By the Lower House of Assembly May 26th 1719.

Read the Second time and the Question being put whether
the bill shall pass or not, Resolved in the Affirmative by the
Majority of Votes.
Thereupon the bill will pass.
And sent to the Upper House by Mr Hill and Mr Earle.
They return and say they delivered it.
Capt Mariartee from the Committee of Aggrievances De-
livers Mr Speaker the petition of Severall Inhabitants of this
Province praying to be allowed to pay their Levies in money
and which was Endorst viz:

By the Committee of Aggrievances
May the 2 5th 1719.

Read and referred by the Committee of Aggrievances to the
house for their Consideration thereon.

Which was likew [ise] read in this House and referred till
next Sessions of Assembly.
On reading and considering that part of his Excys Speech
and the Act relating to Jurors,
The Question was put whether a Supplement shall be Added
