Leave is given to Thomas Bordley Esqr to be of Council wth
the Petitioner

The Petition of John Clements read again and on hearing
the Allegations of both parties by their Council, It is resolved
by this House Nemine Contradicente that the petitioner has a
right to the Lot of land in the Town of Cambridge which was
formerly Major Taylors in the Old Survey No 9, but in the new
Survey No 15, being the Lot whereon the Court house now
Stands And thereupon leave is given to bring in a Bill Accord-
ingly. Signed p Order.

for Supplying the defects in a Conveyance of land from Henry
Roberts to John ff ord thus Endorst viz:

CoP Holland and three more from the Upper House De-
livers Mr Speaker his Excellencys answer to the Address of
Yesterday which was read and ordered to be Entred as follows
Viz.
May 20th 1719.

Mr Speaker: I desire you will acquaint the House That the
Honourable mention of the Lord Proprietor in your Address
of Yesterday, shall be laid before his Lordship by the first
Conveniency, which I doubt not will be very Acceptable to
him.
The Steady resolution of your House to maintain the Prot-
estant Religion and laws of this Government is highly com-
mendable in [them] .
The favourable Sense your house has of my Administration
is truely Gratefull, & I shall always retain an Affectionate
memory of this and your former good inclinations to me.

Mr Speaker a Bill for Encouragement of an Iron Manufacture
