for his offence and he refuse so to do or the offence be extraor-
dinary or repeated, the Court may deprive the offender of his
practice in that Court and if such records be made in Severall
Courts or he be convict of offences against the Courts and
refuse to Submitt or be generally insolent and misbehaving
himself to the Courts of Justice and his offences are multiplyed

it will be Just and reasonable for the Assembly on hearing
Such offender or giveing him opportunity of being heard and
having Satisfaction of his guilt for the quiet Administration
of Justice and the Supporting of the Courts by Act of As-
sembly to make him uncapable to practice any more in any
Court within that Island.

I think the being of Council for malefactors the Council
behaveing himself with duty and respect to the Courts is not to
be objected agt him. Edwd Northey 29th Octr 1718.

The House meet according to Adjournment
Yesterdays proceedings are read.
Colo Herrman on his letter is excused by reason of his
Indisposition
The peticon of John fford read and referr'd to the Com-
mittee of laws to examine the allegations & make a report
thereof [to] the house.
The petition of Thomas and Risdon Bozman read and re-
ferr'd till next Sessions and ordered that William Bozman the
heir at law have notice of this petition that if he thinks fitt he
may Appear next Sessions to shew cause why a bill shall not
be brought in as prayed.

The house meet According to Adjournment, present as on
Saturday.
Saturday's proceedings are read. The Report of the Com-
mittee of laws on the Petition of John fford read and ordered
to be entred as follows Viz.

By the Committee of Laws May the 16th 1719.
Wee have examined into the Allegations of the withir
Petition and find the Same to be true And humbly offer it as
